Foo Fighters Take It Back to 1995 Tour for Anniversary Merch

25 years in the making

August 13, 2020

Just because COVID-19 has stripped everything away from us -- like movies, and dinner out, and concerts, and birthdays, and weddings, and... you get the point -- that doesn't mean you have to forget about the fact that the Foo Fighters and their legions of fans are celebrating.

After canceling their 25th anniversary "Van Tour" due to stay-at-home orders and venues large and small shutting their doors, Dave Grohl and his merry men have announced a new run of throwback merch to get the party started and support a good cause while they're at it.

The limited edition, glow-in-the-dark t-shirts with the band's 1995 "Roswell Alien" design are being brought back with proceeds benefiting the U.K.'s #SaveOurVenues campaign as well as the National Independent Venue Association’s #SaveOurStages campaign in the US, both of which aim to protect independent music venues and employees under threat by the pandemic.
