California family is rescued from atop a 40 ft waterfall after sending a message in a bottle!

Curtis Whitson and his family were 3 days into a scenic, Father's Day weekend trip in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park back in June when they got trapped at the top of a 40-foot waterfall in the Arroyo Seco Canyon.
Without a way to climb down, they came up with a plan...scratching help on to the side of a bright green water bottle, they put a note inside with their location, then trew it over the falls, hoping someone would find it downstream.
Luckily for them, they did...when two hikers found it one half mile downstream, called the authorities...and hours later Curtis and his family were saved.
We talked to Curtis about this amazing story!
