24 year old Smithville MO native Mandy Horvath could have given up.
In 2014, after an evening of drinks with friends, she woke up in an ambulance missing both legs after passing out on railroad tracks.
She could have given up.
But she didn't.
Not only is she in college working on a degree, as well as working as a chef in Colorado...but she recently became the first female double amputee to climb the Manitou Incline in Colorado...2700 steps at a 45 degree angle...on her hands.
And if that wasn't enough, she also just summited Pike's Peak.
Take some time and listen her truly inspiring story.
