During his first tour in the USMC, Sgt. John Peck suffered a traumatic brain injury due to an IED...and his resolve to rejoin his unit led to him battling back and reunite with them 2 years later in Afghanistan...but during his second tour in 2010, tragedy struck again with another IED, leading to him losing both legs and his left arm...he was in a coma for 3 months and eventually lost his right arm due to complications.
He had reached rock bottom...or so he thought.
Then in 2016, he underwent a ground-breaking, 16 hour, bilateral arm transplant...and in June of 2018, threw out the first pitch at a baseball game!

His story is told in the upcoming documentary "The Man With Another Man's Arms" well as in the new book, "Rebuilding Sgt Peck"
