Nik Wallenda is a 7th generation member of the legendary Flying Wallendas family, who have thrilled audiences with their high wire act since the early 1900's.
He holds numerous Guinness World Records...he's crossed the Grand Canyon and Niagra Falls...he has cheated death on numerous occasions...and in 2017, during a rehearsal for the framily's famed pyramid wire walk...they fell, injuring 5 of the family, including his sister Lijana who broke every bone in her face.
But this Sunday, he and Lijana take her first wire walk since the accident....25 stories over Times Square in a 1300 ft walk....each starting at one end and meeting in the middle, switching sides, and making the rest of the walk.
We talked to Nik about this legendary walk, fighting fear and carrying on his family legacy.
