The song also caused a record-breaking feat for the Canadian rockers. Three Days Grace is now the band with the most No. 1 mainstream rock singles, landing their 14th with “Infra-Red.”

The song broke a record previously held by Van Halen since 1998. Three Days Grace has been racking up hits towards this accomplishment since the early 2000s, starting with “I Hate Everything About You.” The dark songs that fit perfectly on radio continued with tracks such as “Animal I Have Become,” “Pain,” and “Never Too Late.”
